Fiji Beaches and Islands
Fiji is located in South Pacific Ocean quite close to New Zealand and has been a popular holiday destination since years. It is an archipelago that has more than 300 different islands and islets. Fiji has been attracting people from all over the world because of its beautiful beaches, miles of white sand coast and pleasant sunny climate. What makes Fiji such a wonderful place to visit is that there are so many different options in terms of islands and beaches that one could never get bored. More than half of the islands here are not inhabited by men, which gives people ample chance to find a secluded beach all to them. There are so many islands and beaches in Fiji that it isn’t really possible to visit them all, but a list of some of the main islands and beaches here is listed below:
- Yasawa Island - the Yasawa Island has some of the best beaches in Fiji. The beaches here are paradise beach, champagne beach, lover’s beach, Atus beach and Valawalu beach.
- Turtle Island - the Turtle Island has fourteen different beaches, all of which are lined with palm trees and have perfect turquoise waters.
- Waya and little Waya islands - both of these islands have some good beaches, the best beach is the sunset Waya beach where these two islands meet with a strip of land, and the beach is great for watching sunsets.
- Tokoriki Island - the Tokoriki Island is a part of the Mamanuca islands and is famous for its Liku Beach.
- Wadigi Island - the Wadigi Island is only a very small island and is extremely private and secluded in nature, the entire island can also be booked.
- Treasure Island - The Treasure Island is surrounded by beautiful white coral and is protected by a marine reserve, excellent for diving.
- Vomo Island - the Vomo Island is quite beautiful since it is surrounded by a range of hills and the beaches here are all deserted and secluded.
- Natadola Beach - the Natadola beach is located on the Nadi Island, the main island in Fiji. The beach is known to be the best on the main island and tends to get quite crowded in summers.
- Denarau Island - the Denarau Island is also one of the most popular islands in Fiji. The island has several spectacular beaches and is home to many well known resorts and hotels.
- Rovodrau bay - the Rovodrau Bay is located in the Pacific Harbor section of Fiji and is a long stretch of golden sand beach.
These were only a few islands and beaches located in Fiji and there are so many more islands and beaches here that many of them are not even known to the locals. Before booking a Fiji all inclusive package it is important to consider the location of the resort and the beaches situated nearby.
